- since 1 February 2016: University Professor of History Didactics at the University of Vienna (Department of History and Centre for Teacher Education)
- 2011 to 2016: Assistant Professor and Associate Professor of Didactics of History and Political Education at the University of Salzburg
- 2014 to 2016: Chair of the Curricular Commission for Teacher Training at the University of Salzburg
